Community Guidelines
Effective July 21, 2026
Golf OS hosts real communities — groups of people who see each other every week. These guidelines protect what makes those groups worth belonging to.
Play it as it lies
Post real scores. Honest records are the whole value of a group’s history — a padded scorecard cheats your own friends. Corrections are always available and always preserved; use them instead of creative math.
Respect the group
No harassment, hate speech, threats, or targeting of any member. Trash talk is golf; cruelty isn’t. Organizers set the tone for their groups and may remove members who make the game worse.
Respect the invitation
Invitation links are for your golf community. Don’t blast them to strangers, post them publicly to strangers, or use RSVP comments for spam or solicitation.
Fan Play is for fun
Keep it free and friendly. Don’t use picks, points, or prizes as cover for side action with real money — that’s a violation of the Terms of Service and gets Fan Play taken away from the people ruining it.
Privacy is mutual
Don’t share other members’ information, whereabouts, or scores outside the group without their okay. What happens in the Tuesday group stays in the Tuesday group.
Enforcement
Organizers moderate their own groups first. For platform-level violations, we warn when a warning is enough and remove accounts when it isn’t. Report anything that crosses a line to support@golf.blac.media — reports are confidential.
