Terms of Service

1. The service
Golf OS helps golf groups organize games, collect RSVPs, build pairings, keep score, run competitions, publish results, and play Fan Play. These terms are an agreement between you and BLAC Works. By creating an account — or responding to an invitation as a guest — you accept them.
2. Accounts
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your password private. You must be at least 13. Provide accurate information; impersonating another person is grounds for removal.
3. Organizers
Organizers run groups and events. When you invite people, you confirm you have a genuine relationship with them — Golf OS invitations are for your golf community, not bulk messaging. Organizers control pairings, scoring authority, competitions, and results for their events, and their finalization decisions are what make results official.
4. Scores, results, and history
Golf OS preserves history. Corrections and reopened results are recorded permanently with their reasons. You agree not to manipulate scores or results dishonestly; integrity of the record is a condition of using the service.
5. Fan Play
Fan Play is a free prediction game. It costs nothing to enter, nothing is ever risked, and points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Prizes are promotional rewards redeemed with points. Fan Play is not gambling and may not be used to facilitate gambling of any kind; doing so violates these terms.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
The Golfer plan is free. Organizer subscriptions and Event Passes are paid, with prices shown before purchase and renewals notified in advance. If a paid feature isn’t available in your region or payments are not yet enabled, we won’t take your money — Golf OS never fakes a purchase. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7. Your content
Your scores, photos, comments, and group information remain yours. You grant us the license needed to operate the service — to show your score on your group’s leaderboard, for example. We don’t use your content for advertising without asking.
8. Acceptable use
No harassment, no hate, no scraping, no attempting to access other groups’ private data, no reverse engineering, no using Golf OS to break the law or your course’s rules. The Community Guidelines are part of these terms.
9. Termination
You can leave anytime — Settings → Delete my account. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice and reason except where the violation is severe. Your group’s shared records survive individual departures, with departing members’ identities handled per the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers and liability
Golf OS is provided “as is.” We work hard on reliability but don’t promise uninterrupted service. To the fullest extent allowed by law, BLAC Works’ liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Governing law & changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. If we change them materially, we’ll notify you in the product before the changes take effect; continued use after that is acceptance. Questions: support@golf.blac.media.
